Terms of Service

These terms cover what you may do with NickTrend, what we promise and — just as important — what we do not. The site is free, needs no account and asks for nothing about you, so most of this is short. Using the generator or any page on nicktrend.com means you accept what is below.

Who you are agreeing with

NickTrend is published by the NickTrend editorial team. There is one way to reach us and it is on the Contact page: contact@nicktrend.com. We have no phone line and no support account, and we will never ask you for a game password, a login code or payment details.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law where you live gives you as a consumer. Where a clause here and that law disagree, the law wins and the rest of this page still stands.

What you may do with the names

Short version: take them and use them.

  • Any name you generate or copy here is yours to use — in a game, on a profile, in a video, on a stream, in a clan tag, commercially or not. We ask for no credit and charge nothing.
  • You do not need our permission, because the raw material is not ours to license. A stylised nickname is ordinary text written with Unicode code points, and code points belong to nobody. What we built is the tool and the way the results are organised.
  • What you may not do is take the site itself: scraping pages in bulk, republishing our lists and write-ups as your own, or automating the generator to feed another service. That is copying our work, not using a name.

One honest caveat that matters more than any licence: a nickname you find here is not exclusive to you. Anyone else can generate or copy the same one. We cannot reserve a name, and nobody can.

Nicknames you submit to the public list

On result pages there is a button that adds a nickname to the community list. Using it is entirely your choice; nothing you merely type into the generator is ever shown to other visitors.

What happens to a submitted nickname
Step What happens What it means for you
You press submit The nickname is trimmed to 30 characters and screened by an automatic filter Longer entries are cut, not rejected silently
It is stored The text is sent to the name service that powers the generator, together with your IP address Described in full in our Privacy Policy
It appears publicly Other visitors can see and copy it on that result page Treat it as public the moment you press the button
You change your mind Email us the exact text and the page it is on We remove it — no reason required

By submitting, you confirm the entry is yours to share and you give us permission to display it on the site and keep it in the list. You are not signing anything away: the same nickname stays yours to use anywhere else, and you can ask for it to be taken down at any time.

Rules that get a submission removed

The list is public and the audience includes teenagers, so a few things do not belong in it:

  • Anything that identifies a real person — a full name, a phone number, an email address, an address or a school.
  • Slurs, sexual content, and text whose only purpose is to harass a named individual.
  • Impersonation of a real player, creator, brand or company.
  • Advertising, referral links or anything pointing at another service.
  • Text engineered to break the page rather than to be read — invisible characters stacked into a wall, or markup pretending to be a name.

We remove entries like these when we find them or when someone reports them, and we do it without waiting for an argument. If yours was removed and you think that was wrong, write to us and say why.

Who owns what on this page

  • Unicode characters: nobody’s. They are entries in a public standard, and no font file is involved when you copy a stylish name from this site.
  • Our text, layouts and images: ours. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome; republishing a page or a list wholesale is not.
  • The community list: written by visitors, displayed by us with their permission, removable on request.

No account, no payment, no reservation

There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. Because of that, there is also nothing to cancel, no subscription to refund and no balance to lose. If a page anywhere asks you to pay for a NickTrend account, it is not us.

The only place the site asks for anything is the newsletter box in the footer, and that is an email address you type in yourself. What happens to it is set out in the privacy policy; asking us to delete it is one email away.

What we do not promise

Being specific here is more useful than a wall of capital letters:

  • That a style will work in a particular app. Every game and social platform decides on its own which characters it accepts, and those rules change without notice. A name that pastes perfectly into one app can be rejected by the next, and neither outcome is something we control.
  • That every character will render on your device. If a glyph is missing from the font your phone or console uses, it shows as an empty box. The text is still correct — the device simply has nothing to draw with.
  • That the site is always up. We keep it running, but it can be offline for maintenance or because something upstream broke.
  • That a name is unused, allowed or safe from moderation. Whether a nickname passes a platform’s own filter, and whether it gets you reported, is between you and that platform.

The site is provided as it is. We are not liable for a rejected name, a lost cooldown, a moderation decision or anything else that happens on a service we do not run.

Games and platforms named on this site

NickTrend is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, TikTok, Instagram or any other game or platform mentioned here. Those names are the trademarks of their respective owners and appear only to describe where a style works. We do not sell, trade or handle anything belonging to those services.

Complaints, takedowns and disputes

If you are a rights holder and something on this site infringes your work or your mark, the full notice procedure — and the six items a complete notice needs — is on the Contact page. Access to the material is disabled while we review a complete notice.

For anything else, write to us first at contact@nicktrend.com. Almost every dispute about a free tool with no account is a misunderstanding that one email settles, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Changes to these terms

When the site changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not quietly rewrite terms to claim more than we did before. Alongside this page, the privacy policy explains what data the site handles, About NickTrend explains who writes it and how a style is checked, and the Contact page explains how to reach a human.
